I’m Alissa Wakefield, one of the only practitioners in the world who blends the MAP Method™ and the Integrative Processing Technique (IPT) into a unique trauma-healing approach. My work is faith-centered (when desired), neuroscience-informed, and designed to help you release pain, rewire limiting beliefs, and reconnect with peace.

Most people only have access to one method. I bring together two: The MAP Method™ – a gentle, neuroscience-based approach that clears subconscious blocks, fears, and limiting beliefs without reliving trauma.
Integrative Processing Technique (IPT) – a structured, trauma-informed method that helps you consciously process, integrate, and release emotional pain.
My Unique Blend: By combining these two methods, you receive a complete healing experience—addressing both the subconscious and conscious mind—so that transformation lasts.
The MAP Method™ — Gentle Healing Through the Subconscious
The MAP Method™ (Make Anything Possible) is a breakthrough neuroscience-based process that helps you release trauma, fears, and limiting beliefs—without reliving the pain of the past.
Instead of forcing you to revisit memories, MAP works directly with your brain’s natural ability to heal and rewire itself. This creates lasting freedom, peace, and clarity.

What is IPT?
IPT or Integrative Processing Technique is a method of releasing negative, heavy, painful, and traumatic emotions. These emotions are stored in the body and cluster around difficult or emotionally charged experiences and memories. Emotions are simply energy. If the emotions are never released, they will stay in the body, continuing to cause damage and fuel negative beliefs, corrosive coping mechanisms, and self-doubt.
The IPT process assists with accessing stored emotions and releasing them without causing further trauma. The most powerful part of the process is the ability to find, clear, and update the belief systems (or view of self and others) that were created by the traumatic experience. The process is gentle, yet powerful, and is a tool to decrease anxiety while increasing empowerment in all areas of your life.

What Does a MAP/IPT Session Entail?

Curious about what happens in a session? Many people are surprised by how simple, gentle, and effective it is—yet deeply transformative. Here’s what to expect:

First Session: Brain Training & Education
In the first session, you’ll watch a short brain training video that explains how memories are formed, how trauma “parts” are created, and how they can be treated. This video is a one-time introduction that trains your superconscious mind to participate in the healing process. -
Relaxed, Open State
Afterward, you’ll be gently guided into a calm, receptive state. This isn’t hypnosis—it’s simply a safe mental space where your mind and body can work together for healing. -
Subconscious Healing with MAP
Using the MAP Method™ We invite your superconscious mind to locate and neutralize painful memories, emotional triggers, and limiting beliefs. You don’t have to relive or describe past trauma—the process works beneath the surface, safely and powerfully. -
Conscious Integration with IPT
If necessary, we use Integrative Processing Technique (IPT) to help you consciously understand, integrate, and stabilize the changes. This ensures that the subconscious healing is fully anchored into your daily life and relationships. -
Subsequent Sessions
In later sessions, we go straight into the process—no need for the training video again. Each time, your superconscious becomes stronger and more efficient at supporting your healing journey. -
